STARS from the West End version of Les Miserables will join together for the Bring Him Home Gala Concert at St David’s Hall.

On Sunday, May 22, at 7.30pm, a select group of artists who have previously appeared as Jean Valjeans in the West End’s longest running musical (including Chris Jacobsen, David Thaxton and Simon Shorten) will join forces.

This show compered by Mark Llewelyn Evans features all the memorable songs from Les Mis, along with appearances from Osian Wyn Bowen, Jodi Bird, Liz Tiley and Morgan Westcott.

Bring Him Home supports the Welsh Hearts’ Every Second Counts Appeal for the provision of defibrillators in Wales.

Tickets cost £20, plus an additional £3.95 Ticket Service Charge per transaction and an optional 95p postage fee.

Before that the radio programme The Leak is back in Cardiff and tickets are free.

Series 4 of the radio comedy chat show will have more guests, music and news on Thursday, May 19 and 26 at 7.15pm.

Tom Price invites some of the UK’s best comedians, actors and musicians to take a look at the week that’s just gone by with a healthy dose of laughter, tunes and silliness all thrown into the mix.

The show broadcasts on BBC Radio Wales and will feature guests such as Jeremy Hardy (The News Quiz), Nick Helm (8 Out of 10 Cats, Russell Howard’s Good News) and Cariad Lloyd (Peep Show, Have I Got News For You).

Ticket holders should arrive in good time due to the performance being recorded.

The episode of the show previously scheduled for Thursday, June 2 at St David’s Hall will now be recorded at The Hay Festival, Hay-on-Wye.
