GIFTS: The Vale of Glamorgan Mayor and Mayoress present flowers to Dorothy and Joseph Ryan
THE Vale of Glamorgan mayor and mayoress paid a surprise visit to a Sully couple recently and presented them with a basket of flowers.
Dorothy and Joseph Ryan were celebrating their Diamond Wedding Anniversary and their daughter Alison, had contacted the mayor’s office to arrange the visit.
Councillor Hamilton said: “It is a wonderful achievement to be celebrating 60 years of marriage and Carol and I are delighted to be able to offer our congratulations to Dorothy and Joseph”.
