VISIT: The Junior Sea Cadets with the mayor
THE Junior Sea Cadets had the enjoyable experience of visiting the Mayor’s Parlour and Council Chamber at Barry Town Council Offices on October 16.
The purpose of the visit was for the mayor, councillor Jeff Evans to explain the various artefacts on display which has been presented to the Town mayor over many years by visiting dignitaries and the differences between the role of the mayor and the role of a councillor to the local junior cadets. The evening was enjoyed by all.
