CCTV monitoring in the Vale of Glamorgan led to fifteen arrests issued last week.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 62 times during the week ending Sunday, October 26.

On Tuesday, October 21 on Holton Road, Barry, one person was arrested for theft and another was arrested for going equipped.

On the same day on Port Road two people were arrested for theft, while on Main Street one person was arrested for breach of conditions.

On Wednesday, October 22 on Holton Road, one person was arrested for domestic assault and breach of conditions, and two people were arrested for possession with intent to supply.

Two more people were arrested for theft on Holton Road, one on Thursday, October 23 and one on Friday, October 24.

On Saturday, October 26 on Broad Street, one person was arrested for assault and one person was arrested for possession of a weapon. One person was also arrested for theft on Holton Road on the same day.

On the same day one person was arrested on Holton Road for criminal damage and possession of drugs, and on Broad Street one person was arrested for assault.

There was also a vehicle seized on Tennyson Road, Barry, on Friday, October 24.

All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.

The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
