CHILDREN attending the Friday Club at Castleland Community Centre in Barry have received new play equipment after the Waterloo Foundation provided a grant of over £4,000.
Vale MP Alun Cairns highlighted the community group to the Foundation which helps fund child development projects across Wales.
Mr Cairns said: “I have come to know the children and volunteers at the Castleland Community Centre in Barry well over recent years and was delighted to learn that they have been able to buy new play based equipment for the popular centre.
“The Waterloo Foundation does a great deal to support local communities, and children from all parts of Barry can now develop and play with the new kit.”
