DURING the half-term break, Colcot Primary School opened its doors to host a Minecraft Club.?This event saw children from Year 5 and 6 come back to school to undertake a range of activities designed to enhance their computing and programming skills.
Children were given the freedom to design and create their own worlds, whilst working within a specific design brief.
There was also the opportunity for children to use Raspberry Pi as a creative tool, which proved extremely popular with all children.
The morning was a huge success, with some excellent designs being created and shared.? Due to the popularity of this event, the school is looking forward to hosting another Saturday Minecraft Club before Christmas.
