An ex-Barry Town United coach has run around all 12 Cymru Premier League clubs in three days to raise money for Velindre Cancer Care.
Lee Kendall, from Newport and son of former Newport County and Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Mark Kendall, ran around the grounds in one weekend.
The former football coach arranged the marathon with his daughter Ella after his mother was diagnosed with an advanced stage of cancer in November.
He said: “The diagnosis came as a shock, as she hadn’t been ill or had any symptoms before.
"The care she has received from Dr Hudson and the staff at Velindre Cancer Care has been incredible.

The duo initially planned to raise £1000 but has incredibly surpassed the target by £3K and has so far raised an incredible £4,692.
On Friday, March 1 the duo ran from Caernarfon, Colwyn Bay, Connah Quay and TNS before running between Bala, Newtown, Aberystwyth and Haverfordwest County on Saturday, March 1.
They finished their marathon by running between Penybont, Barry Town, Cardiff Met and Pontypridd Town on Sunday, March 3.
Mr Kendall and his daughter ran 26.3 miles divided between each of the Cymru Premier League clubs.
The former goalkeeper and coach was in goal for Barry Town United while his father Mark made his goalkeeping debut for Cwmbran in the Welsh Premier League in 2000 against his son.
He briefly returned to Jenner Park in the tenth part of the run around the Cymru Premier League clubs before finishing at Pontypridd United on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking on X formally known on Twitter, he added: “We have raised well over what we targeted, and are overwhelmed by the support, thank you to everyone who has supported us.
“It has truly been amazing; our target was £1000 but we have smashed it and we’ve loved catching up with so many Cymru league it’s been a blast.”
