Barry Town United are at home on Friday to Haverfordwest County in Phase Two of the Cymru Premier (kick-off 7:45pm).
There are five points between the two clubs, with Barry looking to close the gap to two points at the top of the Play-Off Conference.
When the sides met earlier this season in Phase One, they drew 2-2 at Jenner Park in August, with Haverfordwest winning 2-0 in the return match on Boxing Day after Barry had a man sent off.
Since then, Barry’s Steve Jenkins was awarded the Cymru Premier Manager of the Month for January when the club completed Phase One of the season with an impressive 4-0 win at home over Newtown, followed by a 4-2 win away at Aberystwyth Town.
Despite there being no first-team match last weekend, there was good reason to celebrate as Barry’s Development Team reached the FAW Youth Cup semi-final, beating Llanelli away on penalties.
After Llanelli took the lead, Finn Roberts scored in first-half injury time to equalise, before Barry won 4-3 on spot kicks.
Barry’s women’s teams have also had similar success.
Three wins in four matches in the Genero Adran Premier means that Barry are just two points behind fifth place in the league at the start of their Phase Two fixtures.
Six games remain in Phase Two, with Barry having beaten all three of their opponents at least once already this season.
Meanwhile, the women’s under-19s are second in their division, a point behind Cardiff City, following a 3-1 home win over Swansea City last week.
The under-19s have also reached the Hugh James South Wales Cup semi-final, after beating Penybont 1-0 through a late goal from Scarlett Davies.
The men’s senior team have recently released Mo Djalo and Cai Rowlands by mutual consent at the end of their loan spell at fellow Vale club, Llantwit Major.
