ELY Rangers thrashed their latest opponents seven-nil, with seven different players on the score sheet.

For the first time this year all Vale-based clubs were in action in the SW Alliance League. Read the round-up, below.

In Premier Division action, Cardiff Airport travelled to Ystrad Mynach to face Caerphilly Athletic and came away with a 2-2 draw.

After taking the lead through a Theo Richards penalty Airport found themselves 2-1 down at halftime.

Lee Stradling got Airport’s equaliser midway through the second half.

Dinas Powys visited Caerphilly Athletic’s local rivals Aber Valley and finally gained their first point of their nightmare season with a 0-0 draw.

Friday evening saw Wenvoe based Ely Rangers travel to Aberfan in the Championship and come away with yet another big win - 7-0 - and with seven different scorers - Oliver Bradley, Luke Davidson, Archie Leckie, Alex Long, Jaden Bahumaid, Luke Garland and Richard Greaves.

That's 32 goals scored in their last six games.

Vale United finally put their poor run of five consecutive defeats aside when beating Aberdare Town in Corntown.

Vale took the lead right on half time via Louis Edwards who scored his second after an Aberdare equaliser and Billy Griffiths scored a stoppage-time third to seal the points 

Relegation-threatened Sully Sports faced a tricky home game against promotion-seeking Clwb Cymric.

After going behind twice Sully equalised with goals from Jack Wheeler and Nick Hooper for a credible 2-2 draw.

Division 1 West saw Cogan Coronation face Grange Albion.

After going a goal down Cogan equalised through Josh Nicholls only for Albion retake the lead via an 88th-minute penalty.

However the game isn’t over until the final whistle and Corries got their own penalty in the five minutes into stoppage time and Jack Preston secured a point! 

Holton Road travelled west to Maesteg Park - a former Welsh League club - and went down 3-1. Ben Pearce scoring a late consolation.
